Volunteer

Volunteers are key to Mills Community Support Programs’ success within our community. Our 160+ volunteers are a vital part of what we do, without their assistance it would be very difficult to offer many of our programs. We value and appreciate each and every volunteer’s efforts.

There are many opportunities for individuals to contribute whether it involves becoming a member of our Board of Directors, sitting on a special committee, or assisting our Home Support Program.

Our Home Support programs are dependant on our loyal and hardworking volunteers assisting seniors and adults with disabilities. Volunteer opportunities include: telephone reassurance, friendly visitors, Meals on Wheels and their delivery, transportation to medical and other appointments, lunches with friends, income tax clinic and many others. Our Home Support volunteers help us 365 days of the year to deliver 11 services to over 600 clients.
